After much ado and fuss over Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat, it has finally seen the light of day. The cast seems to be overwhelmed by the response and Deepika Padukone can’t seem to stop posting about all the love and appreciation she is receiving.
Deepika’s fans made sure they saw the first ever show of the movie and posted pictures with the hashtag #DP1stDay1stShow .
It didn’t end there of course. Ranbir Kapoor’s parents, Neetu Singh and Rishi Kapoor sent her a bunch of flowers with a lovely handwritten note to admire her work.
Designer Swapnil Shinde posted a charming message on Republic Day, recognizing Deepika’s warrior-like bravery through the storm.
🙏 🙏🙏#Repost @officialswapnilshinde with @get_repost ・・・ Amidst 2 massive police vans and 4 jeeps I witnessed the powerful #PADMAVATI yes that's what I still choose to call it.. just by making bombay.. Mumbai the sentiments don't change…And for me this movie for ever shall remain padmavati as it shows the bravery of the legendary queen… this movie is about her valour ..her presence of mind .. And her courage… I couldn't have imagined anyone else doing justice to this role as much as @deepikapadukone has. She embodies the warrior princess like no other…And she as well has shown courage by standing strong against everyone who went as far as threatening to have her killed… She continued working and without any fear at that , as her detractors vandalised the country with cowardice. Truly an inspiring woman this one!!!!! THANK YOU HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY y'all
And more flowers!
After the flak she received for no reason at all, such admiration must feel oh-so-refreshing! After all, it’s an artists dream to be recognized for the hard work and commitment they put into their art.
